Play House a Big Hit for Angel's Rest Sanctuary Cats

We were honored to build and donate a cat play house to the wonderful organization Angel's Rest Sanctuary in New Richmond, Ohio.

We delivered the house on Sunday and got to spend some time with the amazing cats and dogs there. Inevitably we fell in love with each and every one of them.  We can't recommend adopting one of these wonderful animals highly enough.  

Angel's Rest will be holding an open house this Saturday, February 11th, from 2:00 to 5:00.  They'll have food and of course will be answering questions about their amazing animals that are available for adoption, including two litters of puppies that are the most adorable things you have ever seen.

About Angel's Rest Sanctuary:

Founded in 2009 by Perla Medina-Kinne and inspired by Maverick’s plight and health issues, Angel’s Rest’s mission is to provide solutions to the immediate needs of unwanted animals who have no place to go other than a kill-shelter to face euthanization, die alone in the streets or die abandoned at the end of a chain. Their goal is to take animals out of situations where they would be facing imminent danger and provide them with a comfortable place to spend the remainder of their lives, no matter how long it maybe. Angel's Rest excels at providing critical care and physical/emotional rehabilitation for large and giant dog breeds. They are especially fond of the mastiff breeds.  They understand that in this bad economic times, the larger dogs are ending up in shelters in record numbers.  They have a high success record of turning around, or controlling, life-threatening conditions so that the animal is once again healthy, comfortable and/or pain free. They take pride in providing the animals that enter the sanctuary doors with a home environment that promotes happiness, healing and a sense of belonging.

Sometimes even indoors our furry friends need a place of their own.  We love this versatile piece because it can be used for several different things:

1.  Crate train a puppy

2.  An end table or night stand your dog can hang in to catch some zzzzz's while you watch TV or sleep at night.

3.  A cat litter box holder.  The top opens for easy litter cleaning.
